T.J. Ford (neck) is taking an indefinite leave of absence from the Spurs and says his career is over.
Ford has had multiple neck/spine issues in his career and sustained another scary "stinger" on Wednesday. Although the Spurs haven't confirmed, he'll officially retire shortly. During eight seasons with the Bucks, Raptors, Pacers and Spurs, Ford averaged 11.2 points, 5.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
